Whats up guys, so my wife is a manager in a bank and she is in charge of a coin machine, which means she has to fix it and clean it out. Today she found a coin that I am having a hard time figuring out. Can anyone help me out?

It's a common date Morgan dollar. Still a cool coin, but only worth $20 to a dealer.

I was just curious as to what it was, and what that little o or 0 was under the eagle. No, it will separate the stuff the machine doesn't take and discard it in a basket.

Your coin is badly damaged. The O Mint Mark is for the New Orleans Mint.
Rest in Peace

It's beat enough that it's really a silver value only item, but that's $15 today with silver over the moon.

If it is big and silver, it is a big silver coin.
An 1882 'O' Morgan dollar, actually.

Too badly damaged to have any value, except silver melt value.
