I have a guy wanting to sell me some Morgan and Peace dollars at a good price, but it appears to me that several of them are fake from the blurred pics he sent me. Do ya'll concur or am I being paranoid?

Not the best pics for sure, but they're probably OK - many appear discolored or worn.

If dirt cheap and with a money back guarantee, I might chance it but some appear either fake or bad cleaning job, IMHO. But I agree, the pics are not good making them appear off to me.
IF your seeing them in person, take a scale and magnet.

If I could get all 12 for $100, I'd take that gamble.

They all look ok to me, but some of them have been cleaned/damaged.

The guy is probably a bad camera man. What do you mean by dirt cheap? As in, $5 a piece?

I run an ad on my local Craigslist looking to buy silver dollars so would be buying the Morgan's at $14 each and the Peace dollars at $12 each, he has 73 Morgan's and 23 Peace dollars he wants to sell and I would either wait and see what the recent silver run will do or would flip them.

If I were you I would weigh them to be certain they are real.

so you are offering less than spot price.. as your name states, why wouldn't you at least offer spot, and hope to make your money on the numismatic side , rather then trying to make money on both sides... I buy at spot all day long, and still make a profit,...?

seller must be uninformed or desperate. Terrible deal for them.

When dealing with any quantity of silver, always pay under spot by +-5%, that's the number one rule when running a bullion or coin store.
