Today's puzzle for me was provided by the courtesy of this coin in the form of those parallel lines. I suspect they got there before the strike, but I am not sure in the correct answer of how! Any idea?

Looks like Feeder Finger Damage shown with die scrapes. Note how the flow behind the devices. If this were a lamination issue, it would flow over the tops of the devices. I see no evidence of this on your coin.
