1957 Double Die Dime - Coin Community Forum

Coinstrike Valued Member United States 100 Posts	Posted 09/14/2020 10:38 am I recently found a 1957 with doubled date and designer initials. Looking closer, I see possible doubling on the motto also. I wonder if anyone might tell me what kind of doubling I'm seeing, and if this coin might have any value. I don't see any others online with this error in 1957. Thank you. Strangely, the same day I found this dime, I found a 1957 Franklin half with significant doubling, I may post that later. Report this Post to the Staff

Being as I'm unfamiliar with this error, does that kind of doubling take away from a coin's value?
