Coin damage. Note how the coin is no longer round? Also the rims are flatten on those areas on both sides of the coin. Spendable.

notice how the letters are reversed, that means another was laid on top of your coin and whacked, looks like it was against a concrete floor. either a hammer or small sledge hammer,.
