It's pretty unusual to find a doubled die on both obverse and reverse on the same coin. That makes me a bit suspicious that this is DDD, rather than hub doubling. Need some expert opinions on this.

There is/was another specimen of this same coin on ebay, in much better condition, but I didn't want to go for the extra money.

Comments please.

I recall seeing these on ebay a while ago, and at least one of them has been in my watch list since then.

I do believe this is a doubled die on both sides, I have yet to see an example of DDD that shows such a clear spread and such strong notching like this coin.
