Hey everyone! Found this 1956 D/D RPM coin roll hunting, and thought I would share. Was very excited as this is the first real strong RPM I have found! I dont believe they are incredibly rare, but a very nice example!

Agreed. Have you identified which RPM it is?

Very nice separation/spread and coin appears to be in pretty good condition.

That was my first RPM that I found. I was told then the circulated example I found then was worth $2.50. They also commented it would be worth $25 in BU. So I stopped searching circulated coins and went to coins shows in search of BU rolls/tubes of older coins. That was my goal at each show was to buy up as many rolls I could find at the tables. Then I would hit the books of single BU coins and see what was located in them next, or go home if I ran out of money.

Always fun to find that one. I have a nice pile of 'em in 2x2s, most found roll hunting over many, many years.

From my research looks to be the FS-501 variety. I think I stumbled on a small collection dump. Here in Utah I usually get 5-7 wheat cents out of a box, but found 27 in this one! Also found my first steel cent in a bank roll, and a rougher 1909 VBD.
