2009 $1 Coin Error? Or Man Made? - Coin Community Forum

Otcaig New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 03/03/2022 06:35 am I found this coin while going through my change bucket and I don't know how I didn't see this before now, but it caught my eye. I'm fairly new to coin collecting, so my question is, what happened to this coin? Is it an actual error or is it man made? Report this Post to the Staff

As stated, it is a Masonic counterpunch that was applied after the coin left the mint so technically it is PMD. Report this Post to the Staff
