My gut instinct tells me that the date is machine doubled, But I wanted to be absolutely sure. There also appears to be doubling on the "two hammers" (mintmark?) and slightly above the front legs.

Since this was pulled out of a foreign coin grab the bag, the reverse is filthy, i'll post it anyway incase I missed anything.

I do see what you mean; probably MD. I think a closeup of the date is necessary to see if there's any separation.

I'll guess MD because the top of the 9 and 7 look damaged, not doubled to me.

Yes that;s Machine Doubling shelf like images and possible some DDD mixed in as well either way no doubled die
