1964 Lincoln Penny Thick Rim - Coin Community Forum

Beautifully struck, but there is a line/crack/something going on around the date. It should also be noted that the rim of this coin is "thick". Posting pics, comments welcome. If you could get it under a scope, if it is incuse, then it is a struck through. If it is raised, then it would be a die crack, which I doubt. These dies are only used to strike 3K coins, meaning the total of 6K strikes per die. Thus they rarely show a die crack. Report this Post to the Staff
