Well here is another 71 Kennedy. The die crack is a dead giveaway for this one. Looking forward to hear what the experts say. Sorry for the lack of photos. Having a small issue with my camera. This forum rocks. Thank you.

There are several dies for 1971-D Kennedy half dollars with a die crack near the Y in liberty, the DDO-005 is just one of them. Coin in the OP does not appear to be the 1971-D DDO-005.

I agree with taclough...not a 71D DDO-005. Attached are a couple of photos from the DDO-005 in my collection.
Note your photos don't match the DDO-005.
