Hello, I was curious what your opinions would be for this coin. Its got some major wear on a few spots but rest is all in good and very visible condition. To my knowledge never been dipped or cleaned, atleast while we've had it. Cant say for prior. Can post more/better photos if you'd like. Thanks for any help!Would also be interested in a guess as about what price range it could sell for if thats ok or something you'd be comfortable with giving. Tried to zoom more on the parts worn off incase was needed.

Overall, I'll say VG-10.

Interesting wear spots on the reverse. I agree with VG-10. NumisMedia is great for getting a rough estimate of pricing. http://www.numismedia.com/rarecoinprices/fmv.shtml Worth around 40 USD

Possibly holed and repaired? If so, I can't see it on the obverse.

VG-10 seems about right. Can't imagine this would have been worth the cost of a repair. Probably just unusual wear.

I wasn't sure either at first but I think its just an odd couple spots of wear. Might have been fixed in past by someone else but in person it looks more like wear for sure. Thank you for your grades, I'm not familiar with grading much yet but its a learning experience currently. I feel your right or very close for sure with what youve said

The areas at UN .. and AM .. suggest this coin is ex-jewelry, e.g. a belt buckle coin, and what you are seeing is where the original jewelry mounting was removed at a later date.

My grade would be VG details, ex-jewelry (mount removed), and worth its melt value in silver content.

Even straight-graded it's basically a bullion coin.

The wear pattern makes it look like the coin might be bent. VG-10 details.
