G6. Full rims are a bonus for Barbers. You can see "Y" and part of the "T" in LIBERTY still.

an original surface with eye appeal G-6 - tougher to find than some might think. Load up on these common Barber Quater while you still can, in a slabb these are going for near 50 bucks at auction. Love these things, nice sublime coin.

Remember just 6 years ago you could pluck 10-12 of these out of dealer junk silver boxes for 13 × face or flip through coin show 2x2's red boxes and pay the astronomical price of 8-10 bucks, ah the good old days. Totally off subject but folks have you noticed what common and better date straight grade Barbers are hammering at?

Assuming you mean early Barber quarters for $50.

Common Date Barbers in VG slabbed can be had all day long for 20-35 bucks.

If they are raw, 6-10 bucks all day long.
You realize when you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.

When I was a kid collecting in the late 1980s the junk silver box at the gold & silver shop was 10x face, so I could buy these for $2.50 each.

Was able to take advantage of this on a couple of occasions; one time a three-cent nickel ended up in the box by mistake and I was able to get it for $0.30 - the owner honored the box price

Usually any Liberty Seated coins were pulled out of the mix by the store owner but I scored a couple of Liberty Seated dimes from there for $1.00 each.

The "treasure hunt" aspect of it was always fun.

Miss those kind of local places, the only way I can even get close to that experience now is at shows sometimes where they have junk silver stacks to dig through, but even those are becoming harder to find.
