I (personally) tend to weight the obverse more when it comes to grading Barbers, since finding coins with full reverse rims can be quite challenging (there are a lot of Barbers out there with VG obverses and AG reverses!)

Old Brown & Dunn grading would take the lowest graded side (in this case, the reverse) & make that the maximum grade, so coins such as my example (VG/AG) would old school grade a max of AG. (Full rims were required on both sides for Good.)

G4 solid I think it would straight grade for the rare date and mint mark combo. The little 6:00 spot on the reverse and area under the chin would probably put almost any other coin that wasn't the 1901-S into details. Without those problem I think it might reach G6 don't thing it would ever get out of Good territory and think it's better than AG for sure even with the reverse wear.

A raw G4 has increased around $600 since 2021 as well. Not a cheap coin at all. It currently flirting with going over $5K in Good.

Doh your right! My pricing was all based on the quarter, however my grading still stands, but I'm waiting for new glasses to arrive next week, seriously I'm loosing it until I get them in hand - LOL
