Looks likely someone was doodling with an ink pen and drew it on there.

In the close up picture I can understand thinking it is drawn on there but that is a really magnified image. If you look at the regular picture it looks like a perfect diamond and totally filled in but magnified it is not.
It seams like all the other from the part of the printing when the info for location and run is printed on the note.

It's kinda unusual. Possibly transferred from some over inking on the sheet stacked above this when it was printed or overprinted. Who knows ? Whatever it is or isn't, it's definitely minor.

The most unusual part is that it's a perfect diamond. That shape would be nearly impossible by accident. It is created. Drawn or Part of the print. My thoughts.

Yes it is minor but as many that collect know irregularities and errors are interesting to understand understand.
I know like many oddities I find they may have no extra value but it is nice to understand how they happen

Steve Tampa do you disagree with it being a "perfect diamond" or that it is unusual.
If you magnify it you can see that it is not filled in solid.

I disagree that it's a perfect diamond. It being solid, or not doesn't factor into my opinion.

I defer to Steve of Tampa. You're the man for currency. Just an observation. It was unusual to me.

I agree the diamond is not perfect. I only shared it cause it looks like the same ink as the face plate number. It is not a random smudge. I was not sure if was an actual detail normally printed.

It's definitely not a detail normally printed elsewhere on the banknote. I'm still not agreeing that it happened at the BEP during the printing process, although it might be.
