1990 D Lincoln Cent Strike Error ?

This just came out of a roll I bought
Reverse of coin has a chunk of something protruding from the surface. The surrounding metal projects outward suggesting that the deformity originated from inside. The obverse has a hump directly opposite. Pretty bizarre to me. What are your thoughts?

I've seen the corrosion errors but nothing that affected the opposite side like this. But I am a newbie so......

Looks to me like the zinc core is expanding some as it deteriorates.

Chemically corroded cent. Damaged too much to be saved as it would be stained and discoloured.

It is a 1999 with zinc rot.
