Zac09 New Member United States 36 Posts	Posted 04/23/2023 01:07 am Hey everyone was doing some after-work penny hunting and found a 1987 Denver penny with a weird line through In God We Trust and what looks to be some possible doubling on the reverse with a weight of 2.5 grams. lcutler Pillar of the Community United States 1661 Posts	Posted 04/23/2023 05:32 am Pictures are fine, actually better than the super magnified microscope pictures we often see here. The obverse shows a Ridge Ring, this is the result of a heavily used die that is beginning to fail. The doubling on the reverse appears to be a mixture of Die Deterioration and some split copper plating. Report this Post to the Staff
