1786 New Jersey That Looks Like It's Possibly Struck Over Another Coin

Bdlc Valued Member United States 113 Posts	Posted 11/28/2025 12:13 pm So I landed this somewhat mess of a coin that I'm identifying as a 24-P, but on a close examination it looks like there could be another coin underneath it. Could be my imagination and the amount of corrosion but it seems there are possibly letters from another coin at top of obverse and a design of some kind from another coin around the shield on the reverse.
