1987 LMC: Ridge Ring?

It was the leg of the 7 that caught my eye as it really stood out. IS this just a wide Ridge Ring? The reverse has something similar going on in the same area.

Thanks. I normally see the ridge eat the lettering but the relief of the leg of the 7 toward the rim struck me as unusually strong. I never saw that before.

Not sure if the Ridge Ring would extend the 7 out like that, I'm not seeing the same effect on IGWT.

sure is weird looking, I would have to look at other similar coins for a comparison.

I was so caught up with the look of the 7 I didn't notice this was a spike head - thru the E in WE.
