A recent purchase for $15 that seems like a good deal even with the low grade.

With all the circulation wear it still weighs 3.00g which may be the result of the slightly heavier alloy mix.

The bifacial lack of strong rims suggests a weak strike rather than circulation wear.

The photos on the listing were of the coin in a capsule and it was sort of gamble since it looked like it could have been bezel damage.

I was thinking a thin planchet from the photos but the weight eliminated that idea.

I just saw this thread. Fantastic coin!

The Denver Mint didn't have a stellar decade in the 1920s, but it sure made us collectors happy.
