Let me know what is this? The U is missing part of the inner side and the bincoular handle is raised have provided another coin for reference. arrows are pointing to what I'm looking at. Let me know! Thanks

Maybe. There is a lot going on with the design. I need to compare it with other examples.

@jbuck the first picture is the one with the missing u and the 2nd pic is from another coin that does not have that .

looks like a struck through on the 'U'
But not really noticing anything out of the ordinary by the scope handle

Thank you, now that I have opened each in their own tab to compare, I see it. I was getting mislead while scrolling the page to compare them.

If I am reading the light shadowing properly, it looks raised. Perhaps a die chip?
