I purchased this coin off ebay and noticed the D In Dollar on the reverse.Is it me or does the D look Doubled.It's hard to tell from the pic,I should receive the coin in a couple of days..any thoughts on what this is?..Thanks http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/vie...,2714034.jpg

Boy it is hard to tell because of the luster.
I do agree that it looks a bit funky.

Rockdude
I just purchased it yesterday off ebay.It was just represented as a 1900 Morgan silver dollar.I hope to get it pretty soon, hope its more than bad lighting or a bad scan.I wasn't sure if something like this was a known variety

I don't believe the D is going to amount to much of anything. When you do have it in hand, check for a near and slanted date.

It might just be poor pixel quality, Die Deterioration or me but I swear that under high magnification, there appears to be Split Serifs on quite a bit of the Lettering!
