I can not be the the first person to come across this but I have come accross another coin that has MD like shelving but this can not be MD if it's on all three coins.... the first coin is the good one

The first pic looks like it could be a die clash running over the top of the date, especially over the 96.

The second and fourth pic looks like Die Deterioration Doubling.

The third pic is probably also a worn die, but look at the shadow doubling of the upper stem above the date, too.

I'm pretty sure Scoob is right. The areas of doubling seem a little flat, although it is prominent.
