aladinslamp Pillar of the Community United States 3076 Posts	Posted 09/25/2011 12:32 am one must understand to the grading standards have really tightened up, to the point wear as a few years ago this would have been an MS65 all day long, but now one must EXCEED the grade by 1/2 point to make the basic grade, so for an MS grade a coin would have to be at least MS65+ to get the basic ms65 grade...Not sure if this is an economy driven idea, yet when times get tuff, some great coins come out of the wood works.... in this case more high end coins can flood the market and values they want to protect...hence the higher standards which you and I know are seeing these days.From TPG's.. Yet you and I are not ignorant in what a coins grade is....TPG's just want you to think that you don't.... Report this Post to the Staff

Strike and luster of this coin just won't cut it for a 65..The "O" Mint weak strike idea still won't make this coin a GEM...Nice coin at 64 but to mushy among other issues for a 65..
