These might just be some hit marks, the coin is a bit worn but I think I see something.

I can see the clash marks your seeing..

But I cant make out the 80/79 here ..

Sorry. not much help , but MHO I dont see it :( ...

Could you post full obverse and Reverse Photos ?

I could try and help you VAM it if you like ... just try your best to get a well lit clear photo of the full coin , along with the full date including the neck Vee and the Mint mark I would be able to help you out .. if needed ..
ill keep an eye on your post .. :)
