Delareece Valued Member Canada 101 Posts	Posted 08/13/2012 9:04 pm Hey, I need help identifying this coin. Any information will help (country, face value, mint date, etc.). It feels strangly light (almost like aluminum). I would weigh it, but I don't have a scale accurate to one tenth a gram. It's approx. 20 mm across. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

The first two symbols mean "Hirohito (Showa), 1926-1989, years 1-64". The next two symbols mean "5 x 10". And the next symbol means "5" The last symbol means "year". So really, it's read: 1926+5x10+5year. Which turns out to be "1981 Year". Report this Post to the Staff
