1857 Flying Eagle Newly Discovered Variety?

Reminds me a bit of what I've seen on wheats where PMD causes a number to move. However, if something hit the top of the one, it sure did it cleanly. The same date punch was often used on many dies. The 1881 IHCs are an example, where the 81 is crooked due to a crooked date hub for that year.
