Noticed this Quarter looked like it had some interesting areas on the obverse. The A in State and the A at the end of America both have extra bars under the middle of them. The ear looks slightly doubled and the motto of IN GOD WE TRUST also looks doubled. I was thinking MD but wanted some opinions. Thanks.

Yep, I think machine doubled; not a DDO.

I am still kind of new at this. Is this something I should keep in my collection or let go back into circ? I usually let them go but this one just seemed to really stand out.

I would hang on to it for a reference piece. It has no premium unless you find someone who will buy it from you.

It is a slight MAD coin on the reverse. They must be using the Reverse as a hammer and the obverse as the anvil setup for these quarters. I don't remember when the setup changed, but this one shows it slightly.
