Hi All,

Please look at the 2 below ebay items for IHC pennies. Can you tell me if these were cleaned?

First one is:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1891-Indian...em3a9244c85b

Second one is:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1893-Indian...em417d748038

If anyone can tell me its cleaned and where do you see that on the coins. Thanks.

Not sure. These are always hard to tell. I'd go with they both are cleaned, but I think the second one looks worse in person.

I see nothing tha screams cleaned on the first one. The second one, maybe. But if so, it was a long time ago. Both are nice coins IMO.

With the first coin look at the S in the word "States". That reddish color around the inside S in that word looks to be off compared to the rest of the obverse.
