Two Convincing IHC Fakes: 1908-S And 1909-S

These two rather convincing fakes were documented in the latest issue of Longacre's Ledger--reposted here for educational purposes, credits to Rick Snow and Dan Templeton.

Both the 1908-S and 1909-S use the same reverse and position of the "S". Since collectors are more wary of buying the 09-S raw, the 08-S might be a more dangerous one. There is a shared reverse marker to watch out for, but I think the tooled rims are more telling.
