Hi everyone,

I'm sorry for my completely naive question, I'm sure this is completely obvious to anyone in the know... I got this coin as part of a mixed lot. I was really after the Roman coins in it, and this coin shows up the depths of my ignorance. I think I see and EDW which must make it one of the Edwards but I don't know whom, and I cant make much of the reverse (do I see a TOR --- Canterbury?)

Looks like an Edward I one.
The common inscription would be '+EDWARD R ANGL DNS HYB' and 'CIVITAS CANTOR' with a weight around the ~1.4g mark.
The part of the inscription I can read is '+EDWa...nNGL DNS HYB' and '...v...TAS C...TOr'.
To be sure have to look into a catalogue.

It is Canterbury.
I can't read the obverse but 9 x out of 10 it will be Ed1
