The best ones to keep are the ones that flow across the whole coin. Split dies are also ones to save. Circular die cracks are also interesting: Click to enlarge. Shattered dies: They all started out as a crack on the die. The continued use of the dies, made them progress into the collectable realm. Small die cracks are not a big thing. After you have been collecting these for a time, then you will realize that. If you save them, keep them into a tube. My mistake I was saving cent cracks, chips and other oddities in 2X2s. Now I look back and realize I wasted 5 cents on a coin that is worth 1 cent. Live and learn. Report this Post to the Staff
