I purchased a group of European coins today as 'culls" (and priced accordingly), and this was among them.

Its hard to tell the denomination from a photo (with no idea of scale) since the half penny and penny look very similar except for the size.

A good result though I reckon. A little rim damage but nice details...

I really like the looks of mid 1800's UK coppers, and this is a nice example.

There are no 1d's or 1/2d's dated 1850
OK, detail isn't bad but verd kills it(plus a few battle scars).

Its a farthing 1850 mintage 430,000 very good buy in my opinion.

Ignore published mintage figures and rely on pricing books.There were undoubtedly many 1850 dated coins released in 1849 and 1851.
