Are these rims heavily damaged or proof rims or something else!

Something else . The rim is not damaged unless it's the reverse rim . I believe you have an average circulated business strike .

Ok. Thanks. I wasn't sure bc they looked so flat/blunt. I googled 1916 proof rims and saw this, which is why I asked.

Here's a pic of another 1916 that is not a proof.
I'm not sure if you can see the difference or not.....?

both appear ordinary strikes to me as well.
