The device looked altered, but it appear the copper is still present. I see the zinc on the tops of the 'T' showing slightly. The 'R' is also weak. It seems to me that if this were coin damage, we would see a lot more of the zinc on the missing area. Also note the irregularity of the west edge of the 'T'. To me this looks like a almost fill on one half of that device and also weakening the 'R'. Either way they are worth what it says on the reverse. But that is what I see. Report this Post to the Staff
