Chase007 Pillar of the Community United States 7530 Posts	Posted 11/11/2017 6:41 pm I believe that is considered a rim Cud, my understanding is that a Rim Fin is a thin flange that extends vertically from the rim/edge junction of a coin struck within the collar. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/11/2017 7:54 pm You might need to see on the edge if there is stoping points on the ends of that area. It maybe a struck through debris on the edge wrapping over the rim area. I just can say for sure from the images provided. But that is where I would look first on this one. The first clue would be: 'Not seeing the copper cladding on that area.' If it is cover, then I would think debris. If you see the copper layer, then the flattened fin issue.
