I found this Wheat penny the year in the 3rd number 19 9 s on this Wheat penny the 3 rd number is missing is this an error penny?

Looks like 1919 to me -- but there are some experts who can probably sort this out. Hang on for awhile longer.

Yes - 1919, just from wear, now the real deal - good cent as it is an S Mint Mark?! If you have trouble reading dates on Lincoln cents try this. Put coin under a bright light and tilt it slightly, the date should then be readable.

@cartier21, you have some nifty photo software with that added image of the magnifying glass. The problem is that in order to better help you, we really need to see a close-up of the coin instead (see below). It looks to like your coin may have either a die crack or a scratch coming from Lincoln's forehead, but I can't tell from the pictures.
