I absolutely enjoy this forum, reading all the entries concerning coin errors and such but find it flabbergasting that after reading the entries, I feel the need to again go through all my coins to look for the new things I've learned! LOL! This is a great site, keep up the good work and I'll keep reading and, sigh, searching!

I hope you're young. You could spend a lifetime or career on this subject and not learn it all.

I started back into the hobby 5 or so years ago. There was a lot of catching up I had to do. However, the learning is part of the fun. Its always exciting to go back through the collection to see what I missed before from lack of knowledge.

Wow, Earle42. I would have thought you had at least a decade invested in it. However, you mentioned the word...

Learning!

That is what this hobby and this forum is about.

Take pride, and most of all, joy in learning something new.

I have been collecting off and on for over 60 years. I only started with varieties about 6-7 years ago. I have gone back through my collection many times and seem to find something new every time. Finding new varieties is great, especially if it is something you just read about. Learning is what this hobby and forum is all about.
