Any opinions are greatly appreciated. I'm wondering if it would be worth sending to TPG for grading. What do y'all think?

Short answer is..no.. you'll be able to find a real nice one of these already holdered...PCGS,NGC,ANACS, at a reasonable price. all the other fees involved will make doing that a wise decision.

AU-55. Not worth the cost of sending to a TPG.

AU-55. Not worth enough to be TPG submission worthy.

Use the die crack in the letters along the top of the reverse to determine the VAM, this might be a way to find premium on value to justify submitting it. Otherwise it's a AU coin that's toned some. 1882-O is generally not a rare coin.
