Identifying 1992 Loonie - Is #1 Specimen Or Proof-Like?

upc239 Valued Member Canada 135 Posts	Posted 09/20/2018 9:34 pm Poll Question So in an attempt to personally learn the difference between a 1992 Specimen and Proof-Like loonie. I thought I'd give the CC an opportunity to school me in distinguishing between the two. Is coin Number 1 a Proof-Like or Specimen Loonie? One of them is a proof-like and one of them is a specimen (removed myself from their packaging). I prefer to see the coins in hand to tell, but If I had to stick my neck out, #1 would be the specimen based upon the squareness of the rims. One person has stuck their neck out saying that #1 is the specimen based on the squareness of the rims....and....they would be right :) SPP-Ottawa...and the slight majority of you have been able to properly distinguish between the two.
