Is this considered lamination error ? I'm not too familiar with them, so don't know if this is one or not. The Obverse looks like there is also some letters coming through below date. Thanks.

Coin is damaged after it was in circulation. PSD

& Thanks. I wasn't for sure since the rim was in with it. So I wondered if it was some kind of damage.

The reverse rims are distorted, and the obverse side is showing flattening opposite that area.
