In my last batch of coins I received this copper piece. It is 28.5 mm and weighs 9.74g. On one side there is a goat in the center. Some of the lettering in legible. Above the goat is "Roman Firmn..." Under the goat is "VETO"
I cannot make out what is on the other side.

That's a US "hard times" token. I don't have a catalogue, so I will let the experts give the details.

well from your info I looked up those tokens and it matches this one, 1837 CONSTITUTION- DONKEY-JACKSON HARD TIMES TOKEN. HT-425
