I came across these awhile back. I have never seen these before and thought to post them. I have found all the names on the Monon employee list you can obtain online. The Monon Railroad handed out service medals before they started using pins. Has anyone seen these or known of these medals? Any idea on the value? Thanks
@yoj, those are pretty interesting. My go-to website for tokens is tokencatalog.com, but I'm not seeing these medals posted there. I do see that there is a monon.org website being run by the Monon Railroad Historical-Technical Society. Have you reached out to them yet? I don't know how active they are, but this seems like the sort of thing that might be interesting to them.

I have contacted the Monon Historical Society. They told me they have heard of the medals but have not seen any. I will contact the other site you mentioned. Thanks for the reply.
Neat medals! Many companies issued 25 year medals. If the company issued an employee newsletter or magazine it would probably list the long service awards made each year. If their historical society does not have the back issues on file your state historical possibly might.
