1998 D Cent. Possible WDDR-001? - Coin Community Forum

Gezus New Member United States 41 Posts	Posted 04/13/2024 7:54 pm I think this is the WDDR-001 from wexlers. I know I have asked in the past about markers. I am unable to locate markers from wexlers on this coin. Does that mean it is not the wddr? Report this Post to the Staff

Just because you cannot find markers does not mean that it's not the variety. There could be different reasons for not finding them: 1.) Your coin may be from and earlier die stage and it has not occurred yet. 2.) Your coin may be from a later die stage and the marker may have been polished away. 3.) Your coin may not be in good enough condition to see the markers, (heavily circulated). Remember, the variety is your first and best marker. -makecents- Report this Post to the Staff
