Morgan Advice? - Coin Community Forum

I really need a MS65 of some date/mint that would be a dime a dozen. Any info is apprecitated Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 05/30/2006 10:54 pm Your best bet is an 1881-S. They're common, almost uniformly great strikes, and, for MS65, relatively cheap. You can get a gorgeous one for well under $200. 1921's aren't known for great strikes - I'd advise against one for a type set (remember, 1921's are what I do). Report this Post to the Staff

I'm sorry for any confusion. I probably wasn't clear. Since it is for a type set, I figured common date/best strike/moderate price. I guess I wasn't specific enough.
