LibertyEagle20 Pillar of the Community United States 1211 Posts	Posted Yesterday 07:34 am Interesting only Adam brought up the lines. So the correct answer here is MS66. I am 99% positive the lines on the Obverse are die polishing because both NGC and CAC straight graded. Also when I look at them, the lines stop as soon as they get to the sun rays or liberty. No line cuts through the details of the coin at all. I really like the coin, I also thought it looked MS67. I wonder if NGC/CAC settled on MS66 due to those die polishing lines? Do those sometimes lower the grade if they feel it affects eye appeal? I don't find them distracting however if I saw this coin raw online I would question if they were cleaning lines.
