It took 7 months and 29 days, but I finally got a 2026 coin in change. US 5 Cents 2026-D  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

It is now September and I have not seen ANY 2026's in the Phoenix area. I did get a few 2026 quarters in Illinois a couple months ago.
Usually Phoenix has been slow to get a new year's coins but this year seems worse.

Philadelphia area checking in. I've gotten a small handful of 2026 dimes and nickels over the past few weeks but no quarters. That is until I went into my favorite steak shop yesterday and the counter lady, who knows I collect coins, presented one to me that she had saved out of a bank roll for me. Thanks M. Received a 2026 Declaration of Independence quarter in change at Home Depot. No July 4th.
