My dad had prostate cancer in his late sixties and after surgery he lived out his life without the cancer returning. mestephil Valued Member United States 476 Posts	Posted Yesterday 10:30 pm Sorry to hear that. If you have to, go the surgery route, not radiation. I was diagnosed in 2009 and went through radiation, injections and meds. The radiation caused some colon pre-cancerous palyps so last a part of my colon by surgery.
