Derlowemann New Member United States 24 Posts	Posted 01/31/2011 9:10 pm That is about all I know about this, I see the 1868-1968 so I figure it is a commemorative centennial and the 999 could be the silver content. My wife is a German citizen and she has this silver memorial commemorative type coin. Does anyone know what this is? One side has "FREISTAAT BAYERN * DER MINISTERPRASIDENTENT". {The "A" has an umlaut} and the other side has "PATRONA BARVARIA". It also has 1868-1968 and 999 on it. I know the translation just need to know about the coin. Any info on it or help to direct me where I can find out anything about it would be very appreciated. It is a really beautiful coin, very detailed, sharp and clean. I wish it showed up better. Thanks, Tony Report this Post to the Staff
