1996 Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Gas Line

wz1f Valued Member United States 224 Posts	Posted 12/03/2011 8:17 pm I had to put this coin into Acetone in order to see if this raised line would come off or not and it did not. It is on the Obverse and Reverse . It is copper in color and raised quite high above the face of lincoln. Is this a gas line and worth saving? Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 12/03/2011 9:46 pm I'm no expert but that doesn't look like a gas bubble to me. I would guess a die crack, but wait to hear from an expert. I would keep it because I keep all the odd coins that I find. Is it worth anything...? Hard to say. I would guess it's worth more than a penny but only you know if it's worth your time to try and sell it. Report this Post to the Staff
